Islamic and Linguistic Studies

The Journal of Islamic and Linguistic Studies is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research exploring the intersection of Islamic studies and linguistics. The journal welcomes submissions that examine the linguistic dimensions of Islamic texts, traditions, and cultures, as well as research that investigates the application of linguistic theories and methodologies to the study of Islam. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, the linguistic analysis of the Quran, Hadith, and other Islamic texts; the study of Islamic languages; the history and development of Arabic and other languages within Islamic contexts; sociolinguistics of Muslim communities; and the relationship between language, culture, and identity in Islamic societies. The journal publishes empirical studies, theoretical papers, reviews, and methodological contributions. Our target audience includes academics, researchers, and students in Islamic studies, linguistics, and related fields.
